Khans Tandoori

Tried Khans for the first time today and I was pleasantly surprised after reading reviews the food was very good especially the garlic and coriander Nan the chicken tikka jalfrezi was great but a little hot and the prawn starter was lovely as well definitely worth trying. I will be back but Ill ask them to put a little less chilli.

Ordered food for delivery. Was told there was no lamb so had to pick something else. Waited over an hour with no delivery. Rang the shop and had a minor disagreement with the chef over how long it had been. Food hadnt even left the shop as they were waiting for a driver. Food arrived nearly an hour and a half after ordering and admittedly, it was very good. The vindaloo was mad hot and the way I like it. Pity about the customer experience.

We order all the way from Stanley, because a little longer wait is utterly worth it. We've tried others and are usually disappointed. Khan's is our Indian Takeaway of choice.
