Home Group want to tell their benefactors, customers and tenants that they care about the people they want to house or help, but in reality their operating as a business My dealings with them in these two years has been absolutely frustrating why on the basis of wanting to add my wife to my tenancy. With the current economic climate people are falling behind or cancelling their direct debits So with a landlord like home group they now expect people to pay upfront this way their guaranteed rent in case of someone missing a payment Those they take on as housing officers or managers only last about 3 to 6 months and when you speak to a person at their call centre its like oh we cant help so we then have to try and get hold of our housing officer The days where you could pop down to your local housing office is now gone as now if you do speak to some one it can take up to three days for a response

Despite the disgraceful Home Group service they have now got the audacity to put the monthly rent up by over 30.00 this April 2023. This is a disgusting Housing Association that only cares about how much money they can make, because they most certainly do not care about their tenants. They need closing down.

Lied about 'unreasonable refusals' and claimed I wasn't entitled to a Band A upgrade on Cumbria Choice because I had the 'temerity' three years to give up one of their tenancies. Strawman subterfuge. Unconnected with my present banding appeal! Pitiful tactics to keep me out. My bids on CC don't stand a chance because of this vindictiveness. I'm living in hell in my present dwelling. My health is the worst it's ever been because of the chronic damp and mould infestation in this squalid property. Coughing all the time. Seems I have no chance at all of returning home to Cumbria because of these people who ignore emails, never return phone calls and who seemingly 'lose' appeals. Won't explain why I didn't meet the threshold for Band A. Serious transparency issues to say the least

Avoid this landlord at all cost. Very bad customer service, practically non existent. Their rating on Facebook says a lot anyway. I'm waiting for the repair of my balcony window doors last 7 weeks ever since The Housing Ombudsman made decision/remedy against them. 19 months ever since latest complaint started, and 4.5 years ever since I have reported this issue. Building has a construction fault, and roof is collapsing into the flat, pressing on balcony door, which I could not close. So there is water ingress, wind, and a threat of collapse. Instead helping and trying to resolve the issue (repair the building) I feel like being intimidated instead. And this is only one of the repairs and issues, that I've been going with this landlord ever since I moved in to their property. The story should be reported to the press, looking at others comments and opinions.
