Ordered two shelves for 125 each and one has significantly warped after a year to the point it is not useable. Contacted the company who refused to help or assist. Very expensive in exchange for dodgy wood and a shoddy service - would NOT use again. Multiple customer reps unhelpful via email despite being able to evidence the warping they said this is normal. Not being able to use a shelf, as a shelf, is NOT normal.

Expensive item arrived with a large split in the back and left side. We liked the quirkiness of the piece a decided to keep it. The spilt continued to expand, warping the beam and causing it to pop off its own fixings and is no longer safe to use. I contact their 5star rated support (self-proclaimed), to be told I had invalidated any warranty to existing defects as I had applied a water based protective topcoat. They refused to provide a replacement or refund. Despite their website claiming some splitting and warping will occour they failed to accept the product was defective and unsafe as it was warping itself off its own fixings. A topcoat is not going to affect the structural integrity (they themselves sell coloured waxed version of the beam). Dont buy from this company, but if you are so tempted by their false promises and claims ensure you use a credit card or PayPal for section 75 claims or buyers protection. Unfortunately (topcoat or not) any excuse and more condescending responses would have been used as per all your other customers reviews complaining your products warp and become unfit for purpose after a few months.
