Just like every other Aldi really. But watch out for Sue on the tills! Pros: - Large parking area with many disabled spaces - clean - in a good area Cons: - a lot of out of stock items - limited stock (other stores have more) - sometimes the staff are hit and miss, some are great but when they're on tills their different people but I can appreciate that not all customers are pleasant. That being said, there's always one staff on tills (blonde and a bit older) who is always miserable, we now have a challenge to make her smile but she literally just throws your item at you. Overall, good store, specific stock can be hard to find and your experience might be ruined by the grumpy lady on tills ha!

Ok. I LOVE Lidl but the queues in this store are the worst. Great produce (had stuff I wanted that Waitrose in Hexham didn't) but when I saw the queues I put it down and went to Aldi. Sorry. No queue there (fast self service tills). There's a 5,000 head housing estate opening opposite late this year. This store really needs to address this because I WANT to make this a 5 star review that focuses on great European and UK produce... Not awful queues.

The fruit and veg are not as fresh as they say they are. We have bought both and noticed that they last a few days before going off. We bought vegetables on Thursday for our Sunday lunch and half the turnip had to be thrown away as it was black inside. We bought apples a few weeks back and within a few days the apples had also turned soft and black inside.
