North Shields Marina

Nice place for a walk all on the level or you can go up to the park nice views of the river really nice place for food but no free parking so confusing I got a code to enter but still got a fine totally spoiled the area that should be free for everyone to enjoy

This is a totally outstanding marina with everything that you need from 240-volt electric to freshwater top of the range staff that know what they are doing as well as having fuel pumps and a very high standard of toilets and showers and of course we cannot forget about the restaurant which is very and just like the marina first class in every way if you are a solo sailor there is no problem as there is always staff at hand to help you tie up alongside and I find a place totally outstanding and far superior than other marinas that I have visited

Well worth a walk round as its interesting to have the big cruise ships In.

Royal quays marina great for boat hire or keeping your own vessel moored here good walks around the marina great little pub called the lock good Beers great food nice staff very dog friendly nice properties over looking the marina . cycle path also around it plenty of free car parking and one big attraction is the cruise ships also right next to the ferry for Amsterdam across the way. there are local outlets just up the road with a couple of bars and a hotel
