Been waiting for our delivery over an hour now. It's 20:15. Ordered at 18:00. Due 18.45-19:15. My husband rang the place twice, the last time she said she'd call the driver and get back to us. Took her 10+ min to ring us back. Said our stop is next. Still waiting. I'll give them another ten minutes then I will ring to ask for a refund. This is not the first time we needed to ring them, but definitely the last as I will highly likely not be back. Edit: food finally arrived. Cold rice, dry chicken and the chips rock hard. This used to be a very good takeaway. Not anymore.

These guys do some of the best crispy duck takeaway we've had, and, unusually for the North East, they don't insist on serving every dish with chips or rice which is great as we find we invariably waste lots of extra carbs when Chinese takeaways do that. They even have din sum options which is another unusual thing - on the pricy side though, presumably as they're fiddly to make, but the pork bao buns are good enough for us to have them as an occasional treat. The shop front really isn't much to look at, and belies the fact that their food is pretty good. Not amazing, but certainly the best Chinese takeaway we've found in a 5 mile radius.

I have bought from happy days for a long time and swore by them for the best food .Last night I ordered my favourite things and was stariveg . Baring in mind here my last review was five stars . When the stuff eventually arrive I was desperate to get stuck into my hot and sour soup and chick and black bea. All of it was tasteless never experienced this for happy days before . What's going on have the changed their chef cause this one cannot cook . It's was awful! Every thing was so bland and had no flavour. Lost my business till I at least here why that's been such a massive change in the quality of the food . There wasn't even any sauce in the black Ben it was just a congealed mess of blandness . Come on Happy Days tell us what has happened? .
