Its a small church, full of history. The oldest church in the deanery and the only one in this area until 1830. The hymn hail holy queen was composed nearby in the former board inn. There is a cemetery attached to the church with a community of nuns and former priests buried there and a war grave too. The church is noted for its stained glass and is popular at weekends.
