After my husband died suddenly last year I was actively looking for a decent prepaid funeral plan so my family wouldn't have any financial worries when the time comes. The plan that the Leeds have in collaboration with Dignity is the only one I found that includes cremation costs. Last September this added almost 1000 onto the price of the funeral directors. I went into the North Shields branch and saw Colin, who talked me through everything and was really lovely, as are all the staff. Talking about or preparing for your own funeral can seem morbid and many don't want to think about it. I was the same until Steve passed but sadly it's one of life's certainties. I know people who are saving up for their funeral but have no idea how much it will be when the time comes and are stressing they won't have enough so why not sort it now and lock in a price guaranteed to be less than it will be in 3, 5, 10, 20 years time?
