Popped in this morning at 9.10 bought 5 cream cakes and a shortbread biscuit. The assistant who must have been a new starter was very polite and constantly smiling,although she put all 5 cakes in one box.The atmosphere in the shop was very cold especially the manageress who seemed very grumpy.

Thank you to the two ladies here who really helped me out when I needed it most. I'm not from Newcastle and had missed my coach back home due to the Metro being closed because of the storm the day before. My phone was dying and I popped in here on the off chance that I could get a quick charge. Not only did they take my phone into the back to charge, they kept me calm and tried to find another way for me to get back home and let me know how much it was going to cost, and gave me a cup of coffee which I offered to pay for but they refused. I regret not asking for their names but to the two ladies that helped me that day, your hospitality was incredible and it really put a smile on my face after a shocker of a day. You really should be proud of yourselves and I will most definitely be back because of this (hopefully as a paying customer!).

Just went cooplands wallsend I asked for the hot sausage rolls that they just took out he said I can have ones at counter even though I asked for hot ones served me said they were hot but there not he seemed very rude staff are nicer at Gregg's
