        Thoroughly recommend Twyford Karate Academy - my son has found it enjoyable and not at all intimidating. Lesson prices are very reasonable especially if you attend often.

        2021 update. Still true was looking for a practical and effective form of self defence for my son. the club teaches a traditional form of karate under a well established association, not like some others that have sprung up of late whose teachings are poor and ineffective. my sons confidence and discipline have noticeably changed, improving other areas of his life such as school. all whilst keeping fit. Brilliant.

        I joined the club for both fitness and self defence purposes and since I joined in September18 I enjoyed every single lesson. The pace of each lesson is good, hours are well suited for people working full time. Matt is an encouraging and patient teacher.
