Recently provided a buffet for our daughters 3rd birthday - everything looked and tasted brilliant, and you could tell how much effort went into it. Would definitely use again, it was great.

Visited today as part of a cycle ride. Very nice inside, lots of different types of seating and tables. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great bacon sandwiches and coffee. For cyclists there's lots of fences to secure bikes too. Definitely will visit again when out that way.

Ordered panini to go. I was starving so was grateful to read that "all sandwiches, toasties and paninis are served with salad, coleslaw and crisps." Came back five minutes later to collect my food and it was just a panini in a bag. I'd normally speak up and ask for the other stuff but I was suffering with severe toothache and couldn't be bothered with conversation, plus I did feel it'd be a bit petty. I was also fairly self conscious of looking scruffy in my work clothes and didn't want to hang around too long. Panini was tasty, made with fine ingredients but it was gone in seconds, even with my sore mouth. Definitely not worth 6.50 - I was still starving and an hour or so later I went and got a foot long from Subway (I was trying to avoid driving farther afield for my lunch but should've just gone into Melton in the first place). The lady serving appeared very pleasant and the place looked spotlessly clean. I'm sure if you're just out and about and fancy a sit in a coffee shop you'll enjoy this place but, for my needs, 3 stars seems more than fair.
