        Richard Jackaman from Samuels Surveyors carried out a Building Survey for us on our new potential home purchase. The house we were considering was an Edwardian era house and he recommended the Building Survey over the Homebuyer Survey for the increased level of detail and greater scrutiny. This was all explained to us very clearly and Richard produced an extensive report that covered the house in great detail and gave us the reassurance to continue, and complete, the purchase by the end of July 2021.

The report was extremely clear, through and set out the key defects and indicative costs of remediation works in an intuitive and helpful way. He also took the time to follow up and give his own views on what he would prioritise if it was his own house which was really useful. I would not hesitate in recommending him!
