Modi's Newsagent & Off Licence

Never had an issue with the usual staff but a younger gentleman today was extremely rude and put me off going back! Id rather walk up to tesco.

The shop has just been taken over and the new younger owners are gradually overhauling the the business. Like any new business the starting point is the most difficult and we wish them well. I am a retired newsagent and will give them advice at various times. I wish them all the best in their new venture and trust the past negative reviewers re visit the shop and give their views in person to the owners. Running a Newsagents is hard work.

Just got a call from this shop claiming to be carphone warehouse. When I called back was hung up on. Beware.

UPS dropped a package at this point which I tried to collect earlier today (08/06/22). The lady behind the counter was extremely rude and aggressive, shouting while asking for my address and stating the package was not there. I left without the package and feeling abused by this disrespectful and unhappy person. I see there are other reviews reporting this but it seems like no action has been taken and she continues abusing customers. What would this establishment do to stop this?

Modis has served the community for many many years . I have always found them kind, helpful and friendly. They are an asset to Twickenham.
