Roundhouse Design

I first worked with Roundhouse in 2003 when they did a lovely family kitchen in East Sheen that my clients still enjoy, and that has not dated at all due to the timeless and classic finishes used. Then last year they were appointed on another project for my clients who did considerable "shopping around" and chose RoundHouse for their not only their hands-on Design approach but also classic style that suited their taste. Roundhouse designed our kitchen and in addition to this designed and created a cabinet for all video and TV gadgets. it looks amazing. Ben in the Richmond store was fantastic. He worked with us to design what turned out to be (I think) a masterpiece. Their attention to detail, customer service and response to any issues has been great. Our kitchen is now over 10 years old but looks as good as new. periodically round house will send someone to inspect it and carry out any minor repairs. We have always had a great experience with Roundhouse and will go back again for any bespoke furniture we may need!

The entire Roundhouse kitchen experience was exceptional. We started our kitchen during Covid, but that did not stop the team from ensuring a timely and professional installation. Ben Hawkswell was innovative and managed to balance the aesthetic we were looking for with our budget, and included some lovely design surprises as well. Our custom larder cupboard is the envy of all our friends. His practical advice was invaluable. The installation was to a very high standard. I cannot fault the end to end support by Roundhouse, including aftercare. The minor snags that we did have were cared for immediately and above expectation. It is a real pleasure to write this review for Roundhouse. We asked Ben, one of the designers at their Richmond showroom to create a new kitchen for our SW London home. We chose their bespoke range which gave us seemingly limitless possibilities. Ben was great at listening to our ideas and dreams and very keen to work with us to achieve them and gently guided us with his own recommendations for what would work best in our space. He was always professional, knowledgeable, and responsive. Communication with him was always a pleasure. I had been anxious about the practicalities - just how would we get all that work co-ordinated and done to turn our old kitchen into that beautiful design on paper! Roundhouse connected us with an excellent independent builder for all the strip out and preparatory work who had worked with them for many years and was fully accustomed to working off their detailed drawings and guidance, and knew all our Roundhouse team members. This was invaluable in getting the work coordinated and done. Roundhouse were so committed to getting everything done exactly right and it all looking and functioning perfectly. There isnt space here to detail the myriad of ways in which they did that. The finished kitchen is a great joy. Even though it was completed several months ago, I still find myself saying wow when I walk in. Everything is so well made and feels so solid and the design feels timeless so Im sure we will still be loving it many years from now. As we were so pleased with the kitchen we asked Roundhouse as a second project to re-do our tiny utility room. This too is stunning - making use of some extraordinary volcanic stone run through with dramatic lines that I had seen in their Fulham showroom. We were even able to chose which part of the main piece of the stone was used for us, before it was cut by the workshop. I would have absolutely no hesitation in using Roundhouse again. We couldnt be more delighted with what they have achieved for us.
