York Medical Practice at St Johns Health Centre

I have a patient here for 5/6 years and received nothing but the best service from reception staff and Dr's/Nurses. We are really like to have such surgery as alot of people complain of the care they receive from there practices. So thank you to the team at York medical practice you're appreciated

Unfortunately my father passed away at Christmas. But prior to his death, Dr Sophie Ladbrook did so much in helping him through treatment. As a Doctor, she went above and beyond and as a family we couldn't thank her enough. We have all be with York House Practice since birth and I couldn't recommend them enough. Thank you for everything that you did for my late mother and father. You and your team are amazing. 5 stars for everyone especially Dr Ladbrook.

I m high blood pressure patient I need to take medication every day I always order my prescription by email last 5 years but this time on 5/1/2023 I have sent again but it has been 1 week still didnt receive them so I call them today receptionist keep telling me message is empty either I have been ordering my medication last 5 years same way all of sudden message is empty I think they playing peoples life.when I asked their name for complaint They just hanged on me They werent the best GP Practice but they have gone down hill really bad its really sad to winding up people this way

Terrible experience, They should check their staff. This week, my husband, who's got asthma, couldn't breathe without a constant use of inhalor, he had a tight chest and mucus. The asthma nurse (name edited) saw him and actually told him off, saying he should use his inhalor properly (as if he didn't know since he has had asthma for over 35 years). He obviously got worse, and today, he ended up in an emergency as he couldn't breathe through the night. He was given steroids and antibiotics and he was told he should have had them when he presented the symptoms at the very beginning. It's appalling how incompetent health professionals can put people's lives at risk for disregarding their symptoms and not listening properly. This issue could have been prevented without further cost to emergency workers and patients. I sincerely hope this comment helps the Practice to overlook their staff, people who attend there to demand a good service, and may it serves as experience to those who try to join.
