The Fountain

Visited for Sunday dinner. Was welcomed with a big friendly smile from bar staff. Choice of food is great and the food is excellent. It was well cooked and in good portions and at a good price and served in a relaxing and friendly atmosphere. What more could you want. We will definitely return .

We was in Tuxford for the weekend at the local caravan park and popped into the Fountain for a drink after a walk, it was a lovely atmosphere with family's and couples, it has a good selection of drinks, my wife had a cider but didn't like it so I went to the bar to buy a different drink the landlady exchanged it without payment which was very nice of her, we will certainly pop in again when we are over that way.

Brilliant place amazingly accomodating staff that are more than happy to help with anything, the rooms are top notch we have stayed in Hilton hotels and we would prefer the rooms here anyday. A full size bath in the bathroom is great, and then there's the food which truly is to die for, I recommend the homemade stonebaked pizzas to anybody. Our second stay now and looking forward to many more Even let me keep 2 mountain bikes in the room during our stay
