Smartpod - Coffee Planet

Good value, quality coffee. Variety of hot drinks ( decaff. Inc.) Extremely friendly staff. Clean well maintained environment inside & out. Nicely put together pleasant tabled seating area outside ,with restricted bar stools inside. Its a small area, but despite being on a busy industrial estate functions well as a meeting/ coffee place. Car park directly outside Good vfm, good variety, quality panini's, Baguettes, pastries & cakes. ( NOT just sugary tat !) Worth the visit. Does the "Too good to go" phenomenon as well. So enviro. aware. Peaceful, friendly & pleasant ! Recommended.

How many barista can you fit in a pod? Possibly more than four. Today I nudge my friend to go try the Coffee planet that has recently opened up. I was surprised to see it was one of those smart pods and inside was absolutely brilliant. The staff were more than friendly, patience and helpful. The menu has your standard variety that you normally get in cafs. Seating inside you can also charge your phone is necessary. However, the coffee was okay but would be perfect for me if it was little hotter but I can not grumble too much. Highly recommended if you're in dire need for a pit stop when driving on the A1 or if you're local for a caffeine pick me up.

A hidden gem! Needs a big sign on the main road. I'd gladly jump off the A1 and come here rather than the standard services. Lovely coffee in the sunshine

Super cool coffee stop, much nicer than big services down the A1! Nice to know you are supporting local businesses and the coffee is superb. An extensive drinks menu along with sandwich and bap offerings etc too! Would highly recommend for a quick stop :)

I use this little place all the time. Ryan and Harry are great lads and Charlotte always greets you with a lovely smile.then there's liberty the manager. Nice young lady with a broad sense of humor . I'm always laffing when I leave
