This company are fantastic. When I arrived in London without my contact lenses, they went out of their way to fit in an eye test and provide me with emergency lenses. Extremely professional and helpful.

Friendly Arif and his colleagues are very conscientious and meticulous, inspiring great confidence in their diagnoses and proposals. They are very proactive and go out of their way to be helpful and flexible , I still use their services even though I now live almost 200 miles away!

I have to start this long review with the "near past". That not-so-nice past brought me to Sherman Optics, where I intend to be a loyal customer for life! To clarify, after 4 months of agony that I went through in mega popular optical chains that have developed marketing on a national level and have hundreds of stores (which is what initially attracted me, as well as a large selection of frames), I was desperate. Can you imagine if they weren't able to make correct prescription glasses after a few tries? I've experienced everything from prismatic glasses, high, fisheye, migraines, nausea and I was lucky not to be injured twice. Those diopter glasses were nice and obviously not at all for my eyes (diopter is -1.75 and -2), it's nothing complicated. At the fourth attempt to "adjust" for repair, I gave up and went to the first neighbor, Sherman optics. Without a recommendation, without knowing anyone from my friends or neighbors to be their client. I literally told them at the entrance "please help me, I only need prescription glasses that belong to me!". I probably sounded funny to them, but they didn't know about my 4 months long agony. One day I had an examination, they helped me choose a frame, the next day I received a text message that my prescription glasses were ready for collection. I was overjoyed, I saw everything clearly!!! To make the story even more beautiful, today I am doubly happy, I decided to combine prescription glasses and contact lenses sometimes. I'm wearing the lenses right now as I write this, soft, comfortable even for my dry and sensitive eyes, I'm not even aware I have them in my eyes. I was given a few pairs to try on, to make sure my eyes were "happy with the lenses" and instructed to come in at any time unannounced if I felt any discomfort. I don't know what else to write without it sounding like a eulogy, because it really only belongs to the staff of Sherman Optics. I totally recommend them. I guarantee that you will feel safe from their professionalism in their work. Their skill and knowledge is what is most important for the health of our eyes, not a hyped chain store that employs unskilled staff and offers fancy frame brands. Sherman offers beautiful frames for everyone's taste. I chose discreet frames for prescription glasses from a company that follows sustainability and ecology, so that I have perfect vision and follow my views on ecology. Thank you Sherman Optics, I wish you many successful decades of business!
