This nursery is extremely badly managed and as the parent of a toddler attending, I have experienced various issues that I consider simply unacceptable. I have now taken my son out of this establishment, as I felt that he was being discriminated against for being a funded child. It also came across that staff would rather not deal with a child that could be considered a bit more challenging. It got to the point that both my son and I were struggling due to the emotional stress and in recent weeks when I picked him up, my son would either be distressed or upset about something. The management is very inflexible in many ways. The nursery offers children tap water to drink and when I discovered this, I asked if I could provide filtered water (my son had developed digestive problems and was often sick), and to my disbelief I was told no and that this was creating a problem for the nursery. Eventually, a letter from my GP was requested before the nursery agreed for my son to bring his own water. I found this strange and completely unnecessary. When my son started at the nursery, he was in nappies and being potty trained. When he started pre-school, no one would care to wipe his bottom and his pants were often left soiled, leaving him to develop a rash together with being uncomfortable, dirty and unhygienic. I notified management about this on several occasions and it was still happening for many months afterwards, despite my concerns. I feel that the management has no respect for single parents on funding, or even for their staff who are overworked and unhappy. There is a high turnover of staff there. The hours they offer for single parents are unworkable and if anything, more exhausting for both the child and parent. The activities and curriculum for the children are awful, theyre never taken off site to parks, libraries or garden centres. The building is small and there is no space for the children to expel their energy properly. The food they offer is the cheapest you can buy and even though they claim its in line with NHS guidelines, its mostly inedible. My son was recently offered a cold pizza from the fridge as a snack and on the last day, I was told sorry there was nothing available for him. I was getting more and more stressed, trying to get my son in to the nursery for 8:30am and to feed him beforehand because no one cared to make sure that he ate properly, leaving him hungry and irritable. This nursery has very bad reviews online, the children arent nurtured, cared for properly and I have personally been pushed out of there due to how we were treated, which has left me without any childcare. The management are extremely impolite, rude and bullish with other members of my family experiencing the same unpleasant interactions as well.

Employees are treated badly with no respect by manager. There is new staff every few weeks which affects children. I would suggest to everyone to avoid this place.
