Our children had gifted us a voucher for La Trompette so we opted for the fixed price lunch at 57. With no alcohol but lots of soft drinks and cost plus options, including the 12.5% service charge, we paid under 190 for 2. A relaxed service (we weren't in a hurry), gluten free options (including bread) and despite being almost full, you could talk without shouting (yes, looking at you River Cafe). The food was delicious - my rhubarb dessert was outstanding, beautifully cooked to a silken smooth texture. Each dish was presented exquisitely, no fancy smancy ingredients just excellent primary products incredibly cooked. Well done La Trompette, all in all one of the best meals I've eaten in a long time.
