A lovely guy runs this place. "Ebe" is polite, charismatic and super passionate about fashion and tailoring. This is a review of his business, not his personality. I've used him maybe 6 times. Of those six, I've had problems with three garments. My husband's wedding jacket was destroyed by his dry cleaning partners. They paid for a replacement through their insurance, but the precious memories are attached to a different (and ruined) garment. I had some decent trouser tailoring done but only later than promised, making two trips because on the first he'd simply "forgotten" to do them when he said. The last job was a simple button replacement on a designer shirt. Initially he (like the previous job) forgot the timeframe of completion and I wasted my trip to collect. The second time he had "lost" the replacement buttons I purchased for him to use. The third time he had failed to find new buttons and complete the job, as he'd promised he would. Three wasted trips. Lost buttons I spent an hour finding. No completed shirt alteration. I've elected to have another tailor do the job. Overall, I want to love this place as "Ebe" seems so cool. But the service, that always comes with a smile, is too mixed for me to entrust my designer garments in full confidence. If you're unfussy, wear only H&M or just don't mind risk then you'll probably be fine. But I'm afraid I recommend other places in Chiswick for rock-solid dry cleaning and tailoring.
