Was a thriving church in its day, the cemetery around it now landscaped to within an inch of its life. The old gravestones destroyed, history wiped away. Sad loss if you ask me

Set on the brow of Brixton Hill, a local landmark, perhaps diminished but an integral component of a surround rich in architectural heritage. The noteworthy exterior here a showcase of pattern-book Greek Revival elements so admired and emulated in Regency Britain ( circa 1824 ) especially the severe east bell tower topped with a Tower of Winds feature.
