Keythorpe Event Catering Ltd

We booked Adam and the Keythorpe Catering team to provide a hog roast buffet, ice creams and evening pizzas for our wedding in August this year and they delivered a great spread for us. All very friendly and helpful on the day and the food went down a storm with our guests, many of whom actively sought us out to tell us how much they'd enjoyed it. It was delicious and plenty for everyone. We would absolutely recommend Keythorpe to anyone looking for large scale event catering and would definitely book again. Word of advice - understandably they do get busy and fully booked (especially in the summer). Tell Adam exactly what you want as early as you can when you book and don't panic if you don't hear from them until a couple of days before your event. Keythorpe did a great job at our wedding at Inkersall Grange Farm. We spoke with Adam in the lead up to the day and it was great having flexibility on the food we wanted to provide, having Caribbean food was key and it passed the test with that side of the family (!) On the day itself we unfortunately didnt get chance to speak to the team (led by Serena) but we didnt need to as everything ran to plan and on schedule, with lots of good feedback from our guests!

Just wow! Keythorpe catered for my wedding and were absolutely incredible. We have also had them numerous times at my Wedding Venue Haybales Barn and have never failed to impress our guests. Serena is an absolute legend and we are so pleased to have the opportunity to work with them in the future

THE WORST EXPERIENCE WE HAVE HAD EVER. my wife had arranged for a lamb on a spit for my 50th birthday party. The arrangements were unclear, communication was pathetic, the lamb was promised to be delivered with some seasoning, and set up and started as Adam was overbooked and he had a wedding to set up for. On the morning of the event, the lamb was literally dropped in our driveway unprepared with the machine disassembled and left with instructions that did not match the machine. A vital part was missing. I was told by Adam "I'm sure you can figure this out..." and he sped off to a wedding event. I asked him afterwards if he dropped the roast at the bride's feet as well... I doubt that very much. I am still uncertain as to why the entire experience was so poor. He even withheld the security deposit until he "tested " the motor and deducted 15 for the delivery. He insinuated theft if we didn't return the machine ourselves. I don't know why it was such an awful experience.... but I do know we will never use this company again and would encourage people to think carefully before doing so.. I leave this with regret.
