Having A Ball Dress Hire

Couldnt even find the place checked google maps and it just wasnt there even rang the Door bell for the address it said but no answer

We went to the exact address, same street, same road, same door number, still there was no having a ball! Even tried calling them multiple times, while they were open, but they didn't even pick up. Walk so long to get there, such a disappointment.

Great selection of dresses on offer, accommodating a range of styles, sizes and occasions. Elisabeth was most helpful on my hunt for a dress, which turned out to be quite an adventure, as the occasion changed quite dramatically after I originally reserved a dress. She managed to accommodate my needs last minute and help me find an alternative dress which made me feel both fabulous and comfortable. I ended up having a wonderful evening and felt extra special all dressed up. Will recommend to others and be returning when I next require a special occasion dress. Thank you for everything.

Elisabeth is a star maker! I hired a beautiful Tarik Ediz red lace dress for a celebration event with Amanda Holden some years ago ( which was also my retirement event) Received stunning comments from Amanda and so many of the attendees I felt like a celebrity myself. Elisabeth was superb in identifying the colour and shape of dresses that suited me. I have always wanted to buy the dress and Elisabeth has kept her promise that when it went into her Sale - I can buy it! Received the dress after her wonderful Sale weekend on my 60th birthday celebration Friday. Her range of dresses and outstanding eye for colour and shape makes her the only choice for dress hire. My experience here actually dampened my memories of the actual event I was getting a dress for. I felt so embarrassed and so small. I dread to think how this treatment might impact teenage girls with insecurities looking for prom dresses. Looking back at the reviews I so wish I had had a nice experience here. I was so looking forward to it. The communication was good, I gave Elisabeth some details about what I might be looking for and my dress size and booked the appointment for a few weeks before the event. I thought about it all week and was so excited when my mum took the time to drive me almost 2 hours to get there. Ive always had appearance and body-confidence issues, so the thought of someone with years of knowledge helping me to feel just a little more confident and happy in myself was almost as exciting as the event itself. But then when I was invited in nothing. Elisabeth seemed unenthusiastic about seeing me and I just chalked it up to her being tired (which honestly would have been absolutely fine, it was a very busy time for events and she must have been run off her feet). She asked me what I was looking for and my clothes size, which was odd because I already gave her that information and I had half-expected her to do something with that info already. She sort of sighed and said there wasnt much for me, but I could wander around and look if I wanted to. She sat down in the corner doing something whilst my mum and I went for a walk around. Didnt make any real attempt to engage with us or make suggestions. It really felt like we were wasting her time and it was a very uncomfortable atmosphere. Eventually we thanked her and left. Back in the the car, I actually nearly cried. I was so disappointed! I wondered what was wrong with me, why hadnt I had the same treatment as I had read about? I felt so embarrassed for even daring to hope that I could feel beautiful on that special day. My mum was so upset for me. The thing is that I had clearly told her that I would be travelling a long way - I know it was a busy time but if there was barely anything for me in the size I gave her, then why didnt she say? Why did we waste 4 hours travelling just to awkwardly shuffle through some rails for 15 minutes whilst she sat in the corner doing something else? Even though its now been a little while, I still dont understand why I was treated like that. Im so happy to hear that others had lovely experiences. In fact, thats what initially put me off leaving this review. But one of my main memories of the event I went to was just how disappointed and sad I felt on the 2 hour drive home, when I had expected to leave feeling happy, valued and maybe even with bit of extra confidence. Finally to Elizabeth - please do act on this. If you say you put customers at the heart of everything you do (as your response has been to other negative reviews), please ensure that includes ALL customers, especially as I see that many of your customers are teenage girls who are easily impacted. Everyone deserves the chance to feel beautiful
