Very kind and helpful! An employee there contacted his colleague to help me carry a bag of small stones I needed for drainage of my window boxes. The slim young man effortlessly picked up the very heavy bag, carried it all the way to the till and even packed it for me in the small suitcase Id taken with me to wheel them home in! Amazing service. Thank you so much!

They have a lot of stuff i use. They want you to have a trade card but don't offer a discount unless you are buying a load of stuff, unlike Wicks. Delivery available and local to me. No problem with returns.

I like Selco and I like the staff but I have to downgrade my star rating because, if you walk into the store with a bag like a rucksack, they make you put it in a locker and give you the key. I always cycle so I can't just leave my bag in the van. So this is very irritating, especially when you just want to pop in briefly. No other store makes you do this. If Selco is that worried about shoplifting perhaps the security guards could keep an eye on suspicious people with bags rather than annoying the customers every time. Also where is your customer bicycle parking Selco?
