        A lovely place to stop by for a quick bite or more substantial freshly prepared meals. We actually first visited for our wedding reception in a separate building on site 5 years ago which was very good value. Staff are all round friendly and informative. There are a number of independent gift shops and also a small wild animal zoo with a surprising number and variety of animals, reptiles, birds etc. There is a shop attached selling local foods, drinks and sweets. They have an active winery which produces some pretty good English wines and they also do tours. All in all, well positioned for a planned day out or a quick stop off.

        What a lovely place - so peaceful and friendly. Excellent restaurant and deli with a wide range of produce. Lovely wine too at reasonable prices. Selection of small craft shops on site.
