        Dog walkers paradise! Highgate is a great place to walk the dog but also for families in general. Very clean and well maintained good clear marked out footpaths if you're not used to the area. The car parks do tend to get busy during the afternoons and especially in the summer months. There is usually an ice cream van on the main car park when the weather is nice there are also public toilets located on the next car park up from the main car park.

        Been going there for years since I was a kid now I take my kids, such a beautiful place to go on walks, dogs are welcome and things for the kids to do, mine love to just run, play and look for bugs. The ice cream van is usually there for the kids to have an ice cream, paid 5 for two ice creams today with my kids. You have to be careful with the ground has its uneven and there are nests underneath the ground that are bumpy but fun for kids to step on though. Fantastic place and parking is FREE. Well worth the visit though if you have never been, you wont be disappointed.

        A beautiful place for tree therapy. Just being out in these woods relaxes you instantly. A wonderful place to walk your dog off lead. You can lose yourself in the trees and bracken in any weather. Dog-friendliness: A brilliant place to bring dogs of any size or age. Plenty of space for them to run free and a lot of friendly dog walkers visit too.
