I decided to take up the bass guitar well into middle age (that's being kind) and needed a teacher with infinite patience. I'm glad I found Rob, he's friendly, knowledgeable and I would thoroughly recommend him to anyone who wants to learn to paly an instrument regardless of age of skill level. As an adult beginner, Rob manages to keep me motivated and inspired during every lesson.

I am a beginner bass player. Rob has shown great patience with me and after two lessons I have been able to play one of my favourite songs. Rob gets to the heart of what the student likes and wants to do, providing early confidence and reassurance in learning to play. I am excited to learn more and progress further! Rob is a very thoughtful and competent tutor. He ensures that the tuition is set at your pace and encourages you throughout. Rob also provides downloads of individualized music sheets to help with practice. I cannot recommend Rob as a music tutor highly enough and would encourage anyone to contact him to discuss their needs. I have received four piano tuition sessions so far and it has brought structure, understanding and process to my learning.
