Whitlingham Broad Campsite

Stayed here for a couple of nights, the field was a bit hard to drive on as only grass and was trying not to churn it up, stayed in my van with a tent, and a couple of friends, I didn't use the reception shop, but seems reasonable priced and had a good variety of things you may need, toilets/showers all clean and decent etc will be visiting again

I almost didn't stay but so glad I did. I loved this campsite, clearly built with nature in mind, it is spacious, well maintained, good views, great facilities that were kept clean. It is great value for money, paying individually and for what you need, that is, if you don't need a fire pit or to charge a phone etc, you don't pay for it, but all there and more of needed. The person I met, Fergus, was friendly and really helpful. The campsite has a great location, next to a popular and good cafe, breakfast with coffee was 8.25. Then off I went paddling on my SUP into Norwich! You can paddle on the Broad itself although there is a launch fee and you have to wear a PFD. Great stay and if I'm in the area I will come back.
