Steps Ahead Day Nursery

Friendly staff who are always happy to help. My son son seems to enjoy it and has plenty of arts and crafts to bring home to show us what he's been up to. They also have a great Web portal where they can upload pictures and observations that you can view to keep up to date with what your little one has been up to.

My son went to this nursery a few years back & complained as he constantly came home with a severe sore bottom & split ears. He couldn't speak then due to speaking difficulties due to autism..found out eventually that one carer would pull his ear if he refused to go to the toilet & would wipe his bottom when he did go with too much force..I was RELIEVED to get him out of there. Sorry but this is in fact truth. I even went to see the manager with concerns regarding the terrible sore bottom he would continuously come home with. Over the weekend I would with the help of LOTS of nappy rash creams clear it up only for it to return. Funny enough after we went to see about this the main lady in charge of son was taken off from caring for him. With autistic children you will find they are VERY honest and when he says the lady would always pull his ear when he wouldn't go to the bathroom or had an accident resulting in the splitting of the underside of his ears I am more inclined to believe him than anyone else. Even now he brings it up and he is almost 10...sorry but I would NEVER recommend your nursery.
