Bupa Dental Care Trowbridge

I have been a patient of this practice for a very long time. Not only me, but also my children. I do not regularly use check-up visits, because I do not have the need or time. I called the practice recently because I wanted to book an appointment. And I heard that I had been taken off the patient list because I hadn't been to the dentist for about two years. No one informed me of this intention. I haven't received an email, letter, or any other information that Bupa intends to remove me from the patient list. This is not legal. I understand that they have the right not to accept new patients, but they also have no right to remove existing patients from the registry without informing them. I'm definitely not going to leave this unanswered, I'm trying to contact the Practice Manager and we'll see what happens. We all pay NHS contributions and have a right to access healthcare.

Been here for over 10 years and has been excellent but since Covid, its gone down hill massively!! I've always turned up on time, never cancelled an appointment but my last 3 appointments (18 months worth) have all been cancelled within 24 hours or on the day but can't get another appointment for another 6 months!!! This has had an effect on my youngest child and said on my last cancellation that we need her in ASAP due to tooth ache and haven't heard anything, this has been over a month. No answer to recent phone calls and no response to voice messages left. Will be going in face to face now as it's getting joke.

Dr. Melissa Ayres is an excellent dentist. She took the time to explain every procedure she was doing. She was very supportive, and thorough when explaining the process. She is a professional and has a naturally lovely personality. I would recommend Dr. Melissa to everyone. She is the best dentist I have ever had .

I have been a patient at this practice for over ten years, I have always received a friendly, efficient and, most importantly, effective treatment. I have recently changed to the SMILE contract and have had my normal Hygienist appointment and Dentist check up. High standards have been maintained. Some may say that you have had to move to a private status to achieve this standard. But the cost of keeping a car on the road is significantly more than looking after my teeth and I think I am more important! Cheers
