Bowleys At The Plough

Very good and well presented food, reasonably priced for a Michelin starred restaurant as well. Had the tasting menu and could not fault it. They accommodated us although we didn't inform them of this menu choice before (we only booked but didn't know we should give notice about tasting menu as they usually need to prepare the dessert the day before but they still produced an equally outstanding alternative). Lovely and classy background music.

Returned to The Plough after.... many years! Still welcoming and a cosy pub but transformed lounge bar and a very good restaurant in Bowleys. Intimate with around twenty covers, good wine list and top-tier food. A great discovery for a romantic lunch and decent value for the quality served. Parking: Small car park and street parking in a narrow lane. Worth the effort!!

Fabulous evening meal at The Plough. All the courses were explained in detail and the extras like the entre and bread were a nice touch. Everything cooked perfectly Loved the little homemade chocolate Lego that came with the bill Thank you for getting me in last minute
