1 is the lowest star rating possible, it should have been zero but that's not possible. The majority of the high rating reviews on here are friends & family attempting to bump up his overall score (believe me - I've tried to track down any way to contact James to resolve our issue so came across all the names of these reviewers who are also socially connected to him). Avoid at all costs. James Matty is a confidence (con) man with zero moral fibre. James Matty will lie, deceive, make & break promises at the drop of a hat - and sadly, with no remorse. Our purchase ended without James finishing what had been contracted, and paid upfront, to be delivered. The standard of work of what had been delivered (note: not even to weatherproof finish) is both amateur, below building code and most concerningly, dangerous. The building James Matty Garden Studios built has been declared unsafe. James Matty simply walked away - with all our monies - and made no attempt to resolve. Despite our substantial patience & understanding for his multiple claimed delays (these were frequent, multiple & unbelievably far fetched in nature). I would urge anyone / everyone even considering working with James Matty - in any capacity, across any of his "businesses" (of which there are many - this "man" can wear many faces and give assurances of multiple skills...none of which he is either experienced nor qualified to deliver) to simply walk away and stay very far from any form of duplicitous & untrue conversation. Avoid at ALL costs. That includes his website design business, his "protection" business and his fencing / garden room businesses. Following the response: as above, I am not (or ever have been) a customer of Red Republic, hence no commentary on RR themselves. However as I have been a customer of James Matty (listed as the owner of RR) I stand by my commentary on his values, behaviour & ethics. To engage with companies for services is to trust the people you would work with. My experience is that us placing trust in James Matty was hugely misguided.

Without a doubt I would recommend these guys. Our site is the bees knees. In all our site job.live looks incredible and we could not be happier. The design process was thorough and far more in depth than we ever expected. It has taken a couple of months to get the site looking right but it was so worth it. Incredible job guys. John A

Very efficient, my website was designed and built better than before. The seo is very strong and we appear at the top of the search results. The site looks the nuts. Highly recommended.
