Stayed the night as I was down for work. Firstly, exceptionally friendly and helpful people working and running the pub. Great simple wholesome food. I had a steak that was cooked exactly as I wanted it done. Good value, great room, great breakfast. My only complaint was that I didn't see the ghost! Will be going back to Cornwall in a month or two and will definitely try and stay there again.

This was our first time there as our daughter was down for a visit and my wife had heard about it. The food was excellent as was the service. While some may say the menu is a trifle expensive I'd say all the above, together with a cosy atmosphere that can only come from an old English pub, then it's worth it. We'll definitely be back soon.
