Really great setting. Inviting, bright decor and great views. Food was really tasty and the service was great. Very dog friendly and our dog loved looking out of the floor to ceiling window where we were sat, the view kept her entertained during our meal! One thing to note - the online allergy menu seems to state that everything contains nuts (rather than being listed as may contain) when this isn't the case. Cleared this up with the staff who were really helpful so don't let this put you off if you have an allergy and are looking at the online menu in advance.

Me and my other half came here for a date whilst on holiday, we each had starter, main, and dessert and we loved it! A bit pricey, but the food was really good quality so felt worth it in every sense! The view was spectacular, the atmosphere and decor were stunning, and the staff were friendly

Just reading two recent reviews and think they are rather unfair, clearly fish out of their normal waters. We are not local but have visited this pub on many occasions and always found the atmosphere and service to be excellent. This is Cornwall, so seasonal, as are many of the staff, so you have to make allowances at busy times and here we have always found them friendly and attentive. Of course we are always friendly too. The views from the extended dining area are great and the decor and seating spacious and in keeping with a beachy village feel. The menu offers a good selection and although perhaps a bit pricey and portions not enormous the food is normally very well cooked and presented. We were here on a Thursday evening after the kids were back at school so not high season. It was busy but not packed and we really enjoyed our evening, thank you. The bill came to 120 plus tip for 4 people which included 4 main meals, 2 glasses of wine and 8 beers. So about 50/50 Food to drink on the bill. A great venue we will be back but will continue to avoid the really busy times.
