Sea View Car Park

Bought ticket. Got back within our time. Received a fine! Don't park here!

Attention!!! This car park is extremely strict! They have video cameras and the exact start/end parking times are from the moment your car enters the private car park and leaves, and doesn't account for any extra parking time, or purchasing the parking ticket or packing the vehicle after a day at the beach. We were already in the car at the time our 2 hours ticket ran out, but the time packing with the dog and kids, etc... we ended up paying 60 fine for leaving 15 minutes over the ticket end time.

DO NOT PARK HERE. There is no grace period from arriving to paying for your parking. That means as soon as you enter you will be charged. We paid for 30 minutes and received a Parking Charge Notice for overstaying by 4 minutes - that's the time from leaving the car to paying for parking. Alliance Parking are no more than scumbags, they will cause locations like Polzeath to loose all shops, cafes and restaurants as tourists will not go. I can only hope there are several large storms and the car park erodes into the sea or better still is blown up.

Honestly, DO NOT USE THIS CAR PARK. Went over time by a few minutes and ended up with a 100 fine.
