It doesn't feel like I've been going for over a year already. I've learnt so much and grown stronger (a single push-up was difficult, now I can just get down and do them.) I have better reflexes and I am stronger having learnt more about mental preparation as well as physical. Everyone's always nice and pushes you individually.

Having been a member of the Karate Jutsu Association since 2005, I am still impressed by the level of knowledge, support and professionalism that is evident in each and every session. Whether your interests lie with enhancing your self protection skills, self improvement or self esteem, this club will cater for your needs with a (very much) bespoke service, whilst maininting "traditional" Karate values. For those who persevere with their training, you will also begin to explore the various nuances of the supplementary arts which appear within the KJA curriculum such as: Torite Jutsu, Kali, BJJ, Dirty Boxing and Sport Karate to name but a few. There is an absolute wealth of experience to be gleaned from the Instructors in the KJA and also those experienced martial artists who are affiliated with the club, some of whom are at the absolute top of their respective fields within the martial arts. There are many wonderful clubs around and this group most certainly is not interested in the "we're better than you" mentality which can pervade so many dojos/gyms around the world. If you want to learn quality martial arts, have fun and fire up the grey matter, then I can recommend no better place to begin ,or continue your journey, than here.

Brilliant club, with a great team of teachers and students. Plenty of different aspects to keep anyone interested no matter experience or fitness.

Headed by Jon Ryley the KJA is everything a first class Martial Arts Association should be - catering for experienced and beginners alike.Jon is a true Martial Arts Master and an excellent communicator ensuring everyone in the organisation has tuition at the correct level. Taking a broader view the KJA promotes the true meaning of the Martial Arts both in the UK and abroad...with links to the Dragon Society and here in the UK the British Combat Association. The KJA is a beacon of light and does nothing but GOOD for Martial Arts.

The Science of China/Chinese Hand, (Karate-Jutsu), differs in the extreme from the notions that most people have of what karate actually entails. Karate Jutsu does not lend itself to the competitive arena and should not be confused with "Combat Sport", for a sport it is not! The Karate Jutsu taught by the Karate Jutsu Association under Sensei Jon Ryley is a serious Self Protection Art devised by utilising cutting edge and up to date knowledge, derived from study over many years and utilising instruction from the highest sources accessible. Having over 40 years personal experience within the Martial Arts I could not advise any practitioner, whether a new comer or "Seasoned Martial Artist" as to a finer and more Dedicated and Professional Instructor to train with. Furthermore training with Jon Ryley is, as it should be, fun! Anybody who has association with the man will vouch for his Integrity!
