We have now worked with Martin and his team on three major projects a two storey extension on our former home along with a garage and outbuildings, building our own timber frame cottage from scratch and latterly on a large workshop and utility room. When we first engaged with Martin in April 2016, we didnt really have the vision to see how our home could be altered to achieve a more useable living space. Over a series of meetings, Martin came up with some incredibly good ideas, making the most of the space we had available and exceeding our expectations. With the new build project, whilst we had a vision for the overall look we wanted to achieve, Martin made the whole process make sense and we completed the entire project in just over 6 months. Once each project started, Martin arranged for specialist tradesmen to attend from groundworkers, bricklayers, joiners, plasterers, electricians, plumbers, tilers, roofers and window fitters all of whom performed their roles superbly, with Martin overseeing all the work completed. Having little experience of employing tradesmen, the wealth of experience and local contacts that Martin was able to offer was invaluable. As the builds progressed, any issues were highlighted and discussed with us promptly, with Martin making suggestions as to how to overcome any obstacles. In the case of the extension, he was actually able to modify our original design to overcome these challenges and we ended up with an even better end result than we could have ever hoped for! I would not hesitate to recommend Martin and his team to anyone considering embarking on similar projects. He truly provides an end to end solution and it is so refreshing to meet someone who is just as concerned with the tiny details of the finish as he is with the overall construction of the building

MWB Built our dream home, from start to finish, leaving very little for us to do, other than to choose our fixtures and fittings. I cannot praise this company enough, it made building our dream home a truly wonderful experience. The tradesmen are excellent and the finished product is one to be proud of. I would recommend anyone to who is considering building their own home to consider MWB, they do it all, full project management, build etc.

Loft conversion quotation. Owner forgot our agreed appointment, had to chase. Arrived and clearly focused on making money eg going through roof that's 4 years old, making expensive suggestions not required and dismissing anything that didn't appear to make money. Not customer focused. Agreed he would email details to me of booking process. Had to chase after 10 days to be told not interested in our project only the larger projects. Very unprofessional attitude.

We appointed MWB to carry out quite a significant refurbishment and extension. Whilst we tried to provide as comprehensive a specification as possible at the outset, it was inevitable that this would evolve as problems were unearthed and 'scope creep' set in. On a few occasions the specification was queried by MWB, with an alternative suggestion being made. In most cases these alternatives were better and resulted in an overall improvement. There have been a few hiccups along the way, but the project has had plenty of complications - lockdowns, materials delays, additional works to name a few. All of the MWB team have been thoughtful, responsive, polite and hard-working, going the 'extra-mile' when needed. We have further projects in the pipeline and we are happy to employ them for these.
