Douglas & Gordon Estate Agents Fulham

Unfortunately we had a terrible experience with Douglas & Gordon and I would not recommend them to anyone. We were trying to sell our house with them last year and once our property launched on the market the communication with D&G became scattered. We received calls from various D&G offices with viewing requests late at night and little to no introduction. The communication and organisation of viewings overall was not organised. After one day of viewings we returned home some hours later to find the front door unlocked (there is a triple security lock) and the back door completely unlocked. There were lights on and the blinds were not drawn. You could see straight into our house which was lit up like a Christmas tree. A few weeks later we noticed a number of expensive and sentimental items missing from our home. I could date when they went missing as it included gifts for my 40th birthday. The only people in our house or had keys other than us had been D&G. Due to the nature of the items that were taken, someone must have looked through our things. They were not left out to be quickly swiped by some opportunist. We made a complaint and received a pathetic response from the Sales Director with barely an apology. I am not sure they even formally investigated despite me and my family (their customers) being made to feel violated in our own home and having irreplaceable items worth thousands of pounds stolen when we had trusted them. I am still incredibly upset and angry about what happened and their response. Avoid like the plague!

I was shown around a property by Stephen Lowe. Stephen was extremely knowledge about the property, the local area, and the market in general. Stephen also went out of his way to accommodate myself on a weekend, which I appreciated greatly. Highly recommend.

Douglas and Gordon were the only agents to bring me an offer - I instructed four!! - which was accepted and we exchanged and completed in 5 weeks Don't think it would have happened without the help of Eva who was constantly in touch with myself the buyer and both solicitors! She was the lynchpin who really kept on top of it and without question pushed it along Always at the end of the phone.. delightful to deal with and always prepared to go the extra mile - exactly what one would want in an agent I paid slightly more in commission but it was definitely worth it to find a quality buyer especially in this market and no hassle Really professional company which prioritieses good client service... genuinely can't recommend highly enough And a shout out to Tom too who also was a joy to deal with Big thank you to both
