Absolutely brilliant facility. Caring staff and management. Always call family to offer help and any assistance during Covid and still offer service to help out parents who may be struggling, with a day or two. Could not ask for a lovelier environment. Daughter looks forward to going every day and even asks for the bus on the weekend. the best Day Centre ever. Could not live or work without them. a lovely family atmosphere.

I joined pcdo in 2016, with intentions of only being a parttime temporary employee. My various professional roles, prior to joining pcdo included being an advocate, project management, training and I was running my own business, but once there, I enjoyed myself so much that I became a full time employee within a few weeks, and ended up staying for 5 years. PCDO, employed me as a support worker with 0 skills related to this sector, with the only requirement being that, I was willing to learn. The organisation are so good, that they trained me and taught me skills, that I currently use in my personal life. The standard of care delivered is A class. Great team work and management support. The level of professionalism reflects top down. However the best thing about PCDO is that, an amazing, safe, family orientated atmosphere is provided, where our service users, are at the heart of everything we do. Resources are carefully selected, of high quality, and available in abundance for each team. The organisation do not fundraise, yet everything they deliver has no cost barrier, as long as it benefits our service users. This type of model of working, especially in the private sector, is both unique and extremely rare. We laugh everyday, and at least once a day to the point where tears trickle or your stomach hurts. Unfortunately I had to leave as the distance was getting to much. I live 30 miles away but if I ever move to London, I'd reapply.
