Sunday lunch was absolutely fantastic. Roast lamb was perfect, as was the fish and chips my son had. Highly recommended

I couldnt fault our visit here last night. The pub is cosy and had a nice friendly, busy feel. We were made to feel very welcome from the minute we arrived and I thought the two staff we met were both helpful and kind. We felt well looked after. I really enjoyed the classic burger - beautifully cooked and served with some very tasty fries - and my son and daughter enjoyed their ribs and halloumi burger. The ribs had a fabulous glaze and the meat just fell off the bone! I think the only thing Id add would be to automatically serve a finger bowl of water with those ribs - but thats very fussy and maybe because I watched my son eating them whilst wearing a white shirt Would highly recommend and will definitely be wanting to visit again.

After being ruined by previous owners, the pub has been restored and evolved to a great venue, with a child/dog friendly garden and tasty food. Welcoming staff cap off a great experience here.
