Had a awful experience on the phone to this Dr's receptionist, Rude,no empathy, I have been referred by my opticians as I have a growth in my eye,can't speak to a doctor as there are no telephone appointments. so I'm really worried, Apparently as the passive aggressive receptionist said,im getting contacted by the doctor, I had to keep ringing as I'm not psychic and didn't know. Could hear them discussing me,but one certain receptionist was especially rude..At one point I was told to go the hospital I kept repeating but the opticians told me to come here with a letter..useless

Been my doctors for over 40 years but the service has gone drastically down hill. Its nearly impossible to get an appointment its more of a lottery to get an on the day.

Had a scheduled telephone appointment with the Asthma nurse. This nurse, for whatever her reasons were, was condescending, lacked empathy, was rude, abrupt and at the end of the conversation was told that she had another patient waitingon the phone? First, she rung late, second, I couldnt remember dates & that seemed to rile her, third, Id had covid a few months ago so I think that exacerbated my asthma. I was polite to her throughout the conversation. I hope you record your calls. Its not the patients fault that theres a backlog, blame Covid. Im not sure if shes based at the Old Cottage Hospital & quite frankly I dont care. I do not want to be in contact with her again and will be asking my doctor to put me in touch with a more suitable asthma nurse.
