To begin with, the estate agents seemed really professional, friendly and were quick at responding! The evening that we went to view the property, they updated the property to let agreed, after working hours. When I phoned Jordan the next day, he reassured me that the property was still available and that they still had viewings that same day. I am starting to doubt that this was ever true. A few days later, I received an email offering me the flat! We were so happy and excited but the very next day I received an email at 9:49 telling me that they had reviewed our bank statements and that they were not able to continue with letting us the flat. At 11:39 I phoned back only to be told that they had already let the flat to somebody else. They failed to ask me what my financial situation was and whether I had any assets that I would be using to contribute towards the rent. The situation felt really planned and underhand, as if they already had another tenant lined up or as if they accidentally told us that our offer was accepted in the first place. Only after reflecting on the situation, I realised how unprofessional and disappointing this estate agents are. They are full of lies and deceit and are not sincere.
