Hands Down Academies: Epsom

Our son loves his classes with Hands Down Accademy. He was doing karate for 3 years before and absolutely hated it. I am glad to say that from day one at Hands Down he is very engaged, excited about his classes and very proud of his achievements. Coaches are amazing: they are always encouraging kids to do better and if we ever have a questions or a request it is always dealt with very promptly. We would 100% recommend Hands Down Academy to anybody who is looking for kickboxing lessons.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to the team at Hands Down. My son Alfie loves every session and is excited to come and train week in week out. A well organised, professional environment to help build childrens confidence. There is a sense of achievement with their grading and a clear plan on development with work sheets. Would recommend 5

Lil Dragons is a fantastic class for young children; it teaches children self-defense, encourages core values such as discipline, cooperation, coordination and respect, and helps to develop flexibility, stamina and general fitness. In the trial lesson I viewed, I was immediately inspired at the teachers calm demeanours and guidance, as well as impressed at the range of activities and techniques they cover in a single lesson. They finish the class with a short game and come home with a simple activity sheet that is related to that lessons value or a seasonal event. Kids are required to go through regular grading to different belts; my son is quite motivated and has found it quite rewarding to have a visual indicator of his development. He thoroughly enjoys his lessons with Hands Down and it is one of the rare clubs that truly teaches essential and useful life skills and values. In terms of correspondence, their admin team are unusually speedy and professional, which is another bonus! I highly recommend this class and company to parents; the only negative is that I wished they had a younger class for my three year old to go to!
