Very difficult to contact for what i need. Trying to book notice of marriage which it says you can do online but you can't. When you call it has standard press 1 for this 2 for the but when it comes to booking an appointment for notice of marriage it cuts dead. We are getting married in Fareham but the number is the same & does the same. I contacted HCC as it falls under them but they don't deal with weddings but they sent me a survey which wasn't related to my issue ! I've had lot of emails & phone calls up to now for the initial date enquiry, booking & deposit paying but booking notice has to be done in person with evidence documents. I spoke to friends of mine who got married last year & they had the same problem & had to go down just to get answers on how to book. They were told you can book online but only a PC. They were using mobile as no PC as have I been. Would be useful if they put that on the registrars home page with the rest of the information. Potentially they may not want it as an option to avoid loads of people trooping through but from what i remember when i registered my dads death there was a small reception in a seperate door & waiting room.
