Of all the firms I contacted Novello took the most time to understand my needs. I needed a valuation for probate but also needed to consider development potential on an awkward plot. The team took time to consider all the options, laid out a variety of approaches and clearly explained the various tradeoffs between them. Once I chose a methodology they started quickly, and kept me very well informed. The final report looks excellent. It reads very clearly, is extremely thorough and certainly surpassed my expectations. I am waiting for the final decision from HMRC and the district valuers but I think Novello's work has put me in a very good position for having the valuation approved. I really couldn't recommend them highly enough.

Bad experience! The first thing these guys did was get the property address wrong mistaking my property in Kingston for one with the same road name in Chessington, even though the address and postcode information was provided by me on the initial enquiry form. I was given a date for survey with a time slot between 9am and 1pm which I find rude, I supply and install water softeners and turn up at 10am. I don't expect my customers to wait at home aimlessly all morning so I can arrive when it suits me, and in fact their surveyor failed to arrive for the appointment booked and for which I took the morning off. I was then told they believed the property was sold in 2015 for ******** even though I have owned the property continuously since 2004. I find it disturbing that on the initial enquiry form they ask ME what I think the property is worth, and why I require a valuation. This is all information that could bias a proper valuation, surely. I now have little faith in this firm to give me an accurate and representative valuation if they can't even get the basics right, and am looking elsewhere.

I have no hesitation in recommending Novello. This is the second time I use Novello. A Fast and impressed service team. Smooth communication especially Chloe, she was helpful, caring and answered all our questions during the process. Surveyor Lewis was very helpful and we have a detail conversation after he carrying out the survey. Report arrived on time and in great details.

We are first time buyers and had a Level 3 survey completed by Novello. We had a great service from Jack who was able to fit us in really quickly and we had good communication throughout. Jack called us straight away after conducting the survey and again after we received the final report. Jack has also made time for a few follow up questions we had regarding some work required on the property. We'd highly recommend!
