Had my daughters bike repaired today he went above and beyond making sure everything was ok for her to be able to ride it to school next week. Fixed breaks including new break cables, straightened both wheels even refitted missing bolts that previously held on mud guard and basket. Price was excellent and saved me from just buying a new bike like I would normally do. Text service is great letting you know the price before work is started for acceptance and another text when ready to collect. Very happy! will use again and would recommend to others.

I got my mountain bike fully serviced at GC Gosport, February 1st . They did a great job. Good value for money and fair prices. I recommend their services Also excellent customer service Thank you for getting me back on the road.

I took my bike here to have my brand new, never ridden Cannondale Topstone 0 fitted with a tubeless setup. I took my own 'Muc Off' Tubeless Setup Kit in with me and was told that it was good kit. I initially thought asking for an expensive bike (cost me 2000+ during lockdown) to be fitted with a tubeless setup would be too much for them so took it in with hesitancy. Unfortunately I was proven correct. I don't think it was due to incompetency on their part, and I know they tried their absolute best. But they just couldn't do it. After them having my bike 1-2 months and me popping in regularly to see how they were getting on they had no success after multiple attempts at re-taping etc. The tyre was leaking air. The wheel even burst at one point and they had to order another from Cannondale. (At no cost to me I might add - So I considered this good service) Tbh it was a nightmare experience for me (Again not their fault). Eventually they said they were able to get the tire to hold the air but two days later it was completely flat when I went to take it out for the first time - I still have never ridden my bike to this day. It would have been nice if they returned the bike to when I brought it in. So put the inner tubes back in and the original tyres back on. They gave me my bits in a carrier bag. So I never got the bike sorted, it cost me the Muc Off kit cost and still have a bike with two flat tyres which I've never ridden. Gutted tbh. From my side of this ordeal it was not ideal. I will say the guys there are absolutely golden. Really polite, friendly, couldn't do enough to apologise for not being able to sort my bike out, and seemed genuinely unhappy to be sending me home with my bike after such a long wait knowing the job had not been done. It must be hard for them. I would not hesitate to go back to these guys to get my bike serviced, or general repairs, but more advanced work. I think as they are so busy it's not fair for them to spend so much time on your bike when they have lots of other bikes to be getting on with. I love the service they provide and they are keeping Gosport active, I have a lot of respect for this shop and you can buy second hand bikes etc. I just think I should have gone to a specialist bike shop or the one I bought the Cannondale from. I just wish my bike was back to the point it was at before I even took it in, as at least it was rideable.
