Gallery Architects have a near 100% planning approval record having successfully submitted over 200 projects over the last 10 years, mostly involving complex home extensions of which over 75% have gone to full service using JCT contracts where Gallery Architects are appointed contracts administrator. The building contractor on the Spencer project previously delivered work of recommended quality but it is most unfortunate that Gallery Architects no longer recommend them on account of them having had a complete breakdown in their communications with very poor procedures on administration resulting in our client refused to speak to them from an early stage. It is profoundly fortunate that this client entered into a JCT contract with this builder where the building contractor was bound by the JCT to bring the works to completion. This contractors lack lustre attitude and threats to walk away and leave the project midway was a serious threat where the client could have been left without a roof over his home. We are glad to report that our clients project was brought to completion and deductions were made on valuations.
