The Seafood Shack has never disappointed! In my opinion it's Christchurch"s best kept secret. A cosy, lovely, alpine style restaurant tucked away at at the back of the Thomas Tripp Courtyard. Delicious food and the service is always spot on. We even got offered a whole platter of oysters complimentary once from the chef, as we were the last customers of the weekend. I would highly recommend this restaurant... 5 stars from me.

Went for Sunday lunch very disappointed. Which cost 13.95 per person no where near as much gravy as shown on the menu board was very very dry, asked for more gravy was told had to pay 2.00 just for some gravy I find that outrageous. So for 13.95 you got 3 slices of meat 3 halfs of potato, half of parsnip 1 Yorkshire pudding dry no gravy. And had to share a small bowl of mixed veg broccoli carrot green beans courgettes. They had no mustard or horseradish sauce. So will not be going their again for a roast dinner. Went a few weeks ago had a seafood salad which was lovely so maybe they should stick to what they are good at.
