Really helpful staff and a good, friendly service. It can get quite busy here, but the wait is never too long.

Quite a frustrating experience this morning with the hearing care centre. I called and was asked to leave a message so did as asked left my details name, address DOB and phone number and the nature of my question which was to find the size of the domes for my hearing aids as I needed to order more. I was called back but the person who called me had not listened to my message and said that they only got notification of a missed call. Why was I asked to leave a message? The person I spoke to was really polite and under training so she was being coached on using the computer system. There was a bit of trouble finding me as a patient even though my last two hearing tests have been at this branch and then even more difficulty finding the records of my hearing aids. Apparently the records only show one although I have had two for several years. The call was concluded with my query only half answered as the record of my left hearing aid was not found. I did receive an apology and was advised to call in to get the information I need next time I am in Christchurch. I can't help but wonder why, when I was asked to leave a message that the message was not available so the staff could do all the research before they rang me so that my question could be answered? I suspect my next hearing aids will come from another supplier.

Very busy practice but Cameron was affable and professional and really helped with understanding which contact lenses were best for me. Apparently I might be able to carry off a monocle. Recommend
